Basketball Game Preview: North Mason Bulldogs vs. Klahowya Eagles

The North Mason Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Klahowya Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Klahowya took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Mason, who comes in off a win.

North Mason will bounce into Saturday's game after beating North Kitsap, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. North Mason pulled ahead with a 74-73 photo finish over North Kitsap on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Klahowya was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-42 heartbreaker at the hands of Charles Wright. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Tarriers since December 17, 2018.

The victory got North Mason back to even at 9-9. As for Klahowya, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

North Mason strolled past Klahowya in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 63-48. Does North Mason have another victory up their sleeve, or will Klahowya turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
