Baseball Game Preview: Onaway Cardinals vs. St. Mary Cathedral Eagles

Onaway is 0-4 against St. Mary Cathedral since May of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Cardinals will challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Onaway has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Onaway duked it out with Evart on Friday. The Cardinals came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-3.

Meanwhile, St. Mary Cathedral waltzed into their game on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Lancers. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

St. Mary Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Onaway, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
