East Grand lost against Bangor Christian on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 14-0 to the Patriots. While losing is never fun, East Grand can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Bangor Christian are ranked second).

East Grand's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bangor Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

East Grand has already played their next match (against Katahdin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bangor Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Piscataquis on the 26th.
