After flying high against the Tallwood Lions on Tuesday, the Landstown Eagles came back down to earth. Landstown lost to Ocean Lakes on the road by a decisive 45-26 margin on Wednesday. Landstown was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ocean Lakes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Tuesday.

Ocean Lakes found their leader in underclassman Samara Williams, who scored no points along with 23 rebounds. Williams has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played.

Landstown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Ocean Lakes, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Landstown will take on Bayside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bayside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ocean Lakes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cox is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
