Basketball Recap: Tullahoma Comes Up Short

Tullahoma played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Brentwood Academy Eagles and fell 72-42. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-15.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Thompson, who posted eight points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Lukas Price, who put up seven points.

This is the second loss in a row for Tullahoma and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Brentwood Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Tullahoma will face off against Tennessee Heat at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brentwood Academy, they will square off against Memphis University School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Owls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
