Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cambri Knafel and Kiara Trovatore Lead Elkhart Christian Academy to Victory

Elkhart Christian Academy proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Central Noble Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Leading Elkhart Christian Academy to victory were Kiara Trovatore and Cambri Knafel. Trovatore had 13 assists and eight digs, while Knafel had 11 assists and six digs. Another player making a difference was Addy Trovatore, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Elkhart Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Katie Forker and Audrey Wallace certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Forker had 18 digs, while Wallace had six digs and three aces.

Elkhart Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Central Noble, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Elkhart Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bethany Christian on the 13th. As for Central Noble, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Churubusco on the 13th.
