Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.57 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Magnolia Blue Eagles.

Arlie Humphreys made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Moore, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Trinity Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Magnolia, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will challenge Paden City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Magnolia, they will head out to challenge Monroe Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
