Soccer Recap: Westside Falls Short of Pierce County in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westside can now relate to. They came up short against the Pierce County Bears on Thursday, falling 7-0. Westside were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three games prior), but Pierce County's defense proved too tough.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Pierce County, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

As of now, neither Westside nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
