Softball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Winnebago Indians, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Winnebago, they moved to 13-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lutheran will face off against rival Stillman Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Winnebago is set to take on their familiar foe Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
