Volleyball Recap: Franklin Central Takes Down Ranked Center Grove

Franklin Central faced Center Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Flashes walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Trojans. This was payback for the Flashes, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win didn't come easy: Center Grove scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 29-27, 22-25, 25-23.

Ti Khoeng went supernova, getting 21 digs and two assists. Those 21 digs gave him a new career-high.

Franklin Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Center Grove, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-4-1.

As for Center Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Indianapolis Lutheran on the 2nd.
