Volleyball Recap: Braden River Beats Martin County for Their Fourth Straight Win

Braden River had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Martin County Tigers.

Braden River can attribute much of their success to Rilyn Stiegler, who had 14 digs and two assists. Ella Rodgers also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Braden River was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Martin County only served four.

Martin County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaylee Alvarez, who had nine digs and two aces, and Shelby Stone, who had ten digs and three assists.

Braden River's record now sits at 13-8. As for Martin County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Braden River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Legacy on the 4th. As for Martin County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Lyman on the 4th.
