Basketball Recap: Dover Gets the Win

Dover pushed their score to 61 the last time they played Hopatcong, but on Monday they couldn't quite do it again. The Dover Tigers walked away with a 22-9 victory over the Hopatcong Chiefs. The 22-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Dover and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Hopatcong, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Dover will square off against Dwight Morrow at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hopatcong, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Veritas Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
