Basketball Recap: Pass Christian Comes Up Short

Pass Christian was the 62-44 winner over North Forrest when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Monday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooklynn Adams was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double with 22 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists for North Forrest. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Adams has scored at least a third of the Eagles' points.

Pass Christian now has a losing record of 4-5. As for North Forrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Pass Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Petal at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Forrest, they will host Holmes County Central at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
