Atlantic Shores Christian dropped their record down to 21-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 9-5 to the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games.

For Greenbrier Christian Academy's part, Jackson Okonkwo was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed four innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Okonkwo has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, Jack Bonney was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Thomas Conrad was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
