After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canadian, Friona was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 76-38 victory over the Tulia Hornets. The score was close at halftime, but the Chieftans pulled away in the second half with 48 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Friona to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaron Rosales, who rushed for 145 yards and four scores on only 12 carries.
