Baseball Recap: Destiny Christian Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Destiny Christian and Oklahoma Christian Academy, and Oklahoma Christian Academy kept the tradition alive. The Destiny Christian Wildcats came up short against the Oklahoma Christian Academy Eagles on Monday, falling 11-3. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Racyn Hyden made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season.

Destiny Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Destiny Christian will face off against Vanoss at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Destiny Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season. Oklahoma Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Destiny Christian at 4:30 p.m. on April 21st.
