Basketball Recap: New Berlin Takes a Loss

New Berlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pretzels have suffered since December 1, 2023.

New Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14 record this season.

New Berlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they will square off against Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
