Preview: Enterprise Wolves vs. Beaver Beavers
Enterprise is 1-9 against Beaver since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Enterprise Wolves will be playing at home against the Beaver Beavers at 7:00 p.m. Enterprise will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Beaver is ranked 17th).
Last Tuesday, Enterprise earned a 54-41 win over Millard. The win was just what Enterprise needed coming off of a 68-45 loss in their prior match.
Enterprise's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaycee Barlow, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eliza Balajadia, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Meanwhile, Beaver pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of South Sevier by a score of 59-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (56), Beaver still had to take the loss.
Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Beaver, their defeat ended a 16-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-4.
