After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mesquite, Thunderbird was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Moon Valley Rockets. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Austin Coates was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Sam, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Thunderbird's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Moon Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thunderbird will welcome Marcos de Niza at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Moon Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Paradise Honors at 3:45 p.m.
