After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Florence, Darlington was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Cheraw Braves 3-2. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Darlington was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-18, 16-25, 26-10, 15-11.

The victory got Darlington back to even at 1-1. As for Cheraw, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Darlington and Cheraw will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Falcons are set to take on their familiar foe Lower Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cheraw will square off against rival York Prep at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
