Baseball Recap: Crystal City Takes a Loss

Crystal City fell victim to Marquand-Zion and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-0 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Hornets' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Crystal City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Marquand-Zion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crystal City will square off against Saxony Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marquand-Zion, they will face off against Doniphan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
