Baseball Game Preview: North Mason Bulldogs vs. Bremerton Knights

For the second straight game, North Mason will face off against Bremerton. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Knights at 4:15 p.m. North Mason is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, North Mason didn't have quite enough to beat Bremerton and fell 7-6. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Danner Jones put in work no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for North Mason: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

In other batting news, Boston Stanley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

North Mason's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bremerton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.
