Softball Recap: Potomac School Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Potomac School's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They never let the Maret Frogs get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Frogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Anna Castellano was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Wolff, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Potomac School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .688. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Potomac School pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs. As for Maret, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Potomac School has already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Jackson-Reed on the 25th. As for Maret, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 19-4 defeat against Flint Hill on the 28th.
