The North Side Gators entered their tilt with the Greenville Hornets with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. North Side came out on top against Greenville by a score of 45-38 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for North Side, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Greenville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Franklin Bennett. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Gymanuel Wells was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
North Side's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Greenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Side will take on Edwards at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenville, they will head out on the road to face off against Clarksdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Clarksdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday.
