Softball Game Preview: Thunderbird Titans vs. Goldwater Bulldogs

The Thunderbird Titans will face off against the Goldwater Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Thunderbird lost 10-3 to Deer Valley on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Skyhawks: they've now lost six in a row.

Brooke Casey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Goldwater fell victim to Greenway and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Demons, falling 15-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thunderbird's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Goldwater, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
