Baseball Recap: Garden City Comes Up Short

Garden City fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Scott on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 8-7. The Buffaloes' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Garden City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Scott, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.
