Baseball Game Preview: Southmoreland Scotties vs. Deer Lakes Lancers

For the second straight game, Southmoreland will face off against Deer Lakes. Southmoreland will be playing in front of their home fans against Deer Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Southmoreland came up short against Deer Lakes on Monday, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Scotties have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Deer Lakes' part, Ben Shurina was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Noah Shurina, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Deer Lakes was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southmoreland only posted a batting average of .190.

Deer Lakes' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Southmoreland, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.
