Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Victorious

St. Thomas More's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Custer Wildcats, sneaking past 53-50. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cavaliers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

St. Thomas More's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Custer, they moved to 7-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Thomas More will square off against Lead-Deadwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Custer, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mahpiya Luta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
