Basketball Recap: LEAP Academy Takes a Loss

LEAP Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-5 defeat at the hands of the Mastery Warrior. The game marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Brasyia Stern was her usual excellent self, putting up 34 points for Mastery. Those 34 points gave Stern a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Diora Green, who posted six points.

LEAP Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mastery, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LEAP Academy will challenge Winslow Township at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Mastery, they will take on Camden at 4:00 p.m. on February 13th.
