Mankato West strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Mankato East Cougars. Those five runs were actually the fewest the Scarlets have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Mankato West's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Mankato East, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mankato West is set to challenge their familiar foe Century at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mankato East will face off against rival Mayo at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
