Basketball Recap: Sulphur Comes Up Short

If Sulphur was feeling good fresh off their 71-49 takedown of Lone Grove last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sulphur Bulldogs took a hard 55-37 fall against the Kingston Redskins on Friday. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sulphur's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Kingston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Coming up, Sulphur will head out to face off against Marietta at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Kingston has already played their next contest (against Hugo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
