Football Recap: Windermere Piles Up the Points Against East River

Windermere won the last time they faced East River and things went their way on Friday too. The Wolverines took their match with ease, bagging a 45-6 win over the Falcons. Fans of the Wolverines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Windermere got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaylen Davis out in front who picked up 116 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Those 116 receiving yards gave Davis a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Henry Rogers, who rushed for 48 yards and a pair of scores.

Windermere was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Windermere's defense and their three sacks. Elijah Mosby was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Windermere's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for East River, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
