Aptos has gone 8-2 against Scotts Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Aptos Mariners will welcome the Scotts Valley Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Wednesday, Aptos strolled past Wilcox with points to spare, taking the game 66-48. Given the Mariners' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Chargers are ranked 397th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Scotts Valley came up short against Menlo School on Friday and fell 65-55.

Scotts Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Aptos, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Everything went Aptos' way against Scotts Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Aptos made off with a 57-35 victory. Does Aptos have another victory up their sleeve, or will Scotts Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
