Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Troy

Troy won the last time they faced Doniphan West and things went their way on Friday too. The Troy Trojans blew past the Doniphan West Mustangs 57-35. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Doniphan West, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jackson Heights on January 7, 2025.
