Football Recap: Tomball Memorial Comes Up Short

Tomball Memorial was the 49-40 winner over Klein when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats received a blow on Thursday as they fell 56-39 to the Bearkats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (31), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Tomball Memorial's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6. Those road defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.7 points over those games. As for Klein, their record is now 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tomball Memorial will challenge rival Klein Oak at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. Meanwhile, Klein is set to face off against their familiar foe Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
