Basketball Recap: North Lenoir Comes Up Short

North Lenoir played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the East Duplin Panthers 60-15. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

North Lenoir got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Ta'Sheena Lynch and Cassadie Fraser, who each put up five points. Sieanna Robinson took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

East Duplin found their leader in sophomore Kinsey Cave, who went 6 of 11 en route to 16 points and five assists. Carrie Carr was another key player, putting up eight points and ten rebounds.

North Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for East Duplin, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

North Lenoir has already played their next matchup (against James Kenan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East Duplin has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against South Lenoir.
