Maury had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Norview Pilots 58-0. Given the Commodores' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Pilots are ranked 116th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Maury's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Norview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
