Howland's game  on Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They blew past the Struthers Wildcats 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18,  25-11.
 Maya Kubancsek paced Howland's offense, picking up 15 kills. Kubancsek got some help from  Talia Rishel and her 27 assists.  Michelina Wayt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
 Struthers lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Trynyty Nail, who  had 11  digs and one  assist. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Elliana Benson, who  had ten assists and eight  digs.
Howland pushed their record up to 13-9 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Struthers,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-15.
 Howland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  win against Ursuline on the 16th. As for Struthers, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Holy Name on the 16th.
