Soccer Game Preview: McKenzie vs. Obion County

McKenzie are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Obion County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

McKenzie is leaving town to face Obion County after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. McKenzie fell just short of Milan by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Rebels couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Obion County's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat South Fulton by a goal, winning 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won seven in a row.

McKenzie took their victory against Obion County in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for McKenzie since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
