Soccer Recap: Farmersville Takes a Loss

Farmersville managed to keep up with Aubrey until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Farmersville Farmers lost 5-0 to the Aubrey Chaparrals. The loss continues a trend for the Farmers in their matchups with the Chaparrals: they've now lost four in a row.

Farmersville now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Aubrey, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Farmersville will square off against Celina at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Celina will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Farmersville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Aubrey, they will venture away from home to challenge Gainesville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Gainesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
