After flying high against Rubidoux on Thursday, Ramona came back down to earth. The Rams took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King Wolves on Friday. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Ramona saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Chavez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Ramona's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for King, their win bumped their record up to 13-10-1.

Looking ahead, Ramona will be playing in front of their home fans against Patriot at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Rams have won eight straight at home, while the Warriors won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for King, they will head out to take on Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
