Football Recap: North Blue Devils vs. South Cardinals
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bay View/Conservatory of Lifelong Learning, North was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the South Cardinals onto the board and left with a 22-0 win. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 12-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.
A big part of North's victory came down to the chemistry between Marion Wilson and his top target Collins Jacobs. Wilson rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown while Jacobs picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The win got North back to even at 1-1. As for South, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
North will face off against Barack Obama Career & Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South, they will challenge Milwaukee Madison on Thursday.
