Basketball Recap: St. Albans Comes Up Short

St. Albans lost against Parkersburg back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The St. Albans Red Dragons were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to the Parkersburg Big Reds. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (65), the Red Dragons still had to take the loss.

Isaac Dailey had an outrageously good game for Parkersburg as he shot 43% from the field to rack up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Chandler Jackson, who posted ten points.

St. Albans' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Parkersburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

St. Albans has already played their next game, a 68-40 victory against Oak Hill on the 7th. As for Parkersburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 82-79 win against Nitro on the 28th.
