Soccer Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

Clearview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McKinley Bulldogs. Ethan Gifford was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Clearview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for McKinley, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Clearview will venture away from home to face off against Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clearview will need to watch out since Columbia have now posted at least four goals in their last six matchups. As for McKinley, they are taking a road trip to take on Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
