Coalgate scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 58-51 to the Moyers Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Tigers are ranked 137th).

Coalgate dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Moyers, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Coalgate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 77-50 defeat against Valliant on the 14th. As for Moyers, they will face off against Wapanucka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Moyers is facing Wapanucka at the right time seeing as Wapanucka is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
