Basketball Recap: Chillicothe Has No Trouble Against California

Chillicothe picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They strolled past the California Pintos with points to spare, taking the game 47-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Jaishon White was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. Sol'Jier Allen was another key player, putting up ten points.

Chillicothe's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for California, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Chillicothe and California should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Chillicothe will face off against Penney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 200 places (163 vs. 363). Meanwhile, California (ranked 116th) will meet Linn (ranked 509th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
