Volleyball Recap: Tampa Bay HEAT Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Tampa Bay HEAT couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Carrollwood Day Patriots on Tuesday, falling 3-0. If Tampa Bay HEAT was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Carrollwood Day when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-6.

Leading Carrollwood Day to victory were Bennett Trutter and Player #34. Trutter had four aces and three digs, while Player #34 had five digs. Those four aces gave Trutter a new career-high.

Tampa Bay HEAT dropped their record down to 20-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Carrollwood Day, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Tampa Bay HEAT does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carrollwood Day, they will take on Indian Rocks Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
