After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, Holy Cross was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They slipped by the Archbishop Molloy Stanners 50-49. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Stanners back in January, they had to take a 48-42 loss.

Leading Holy Cross to victory were Nafi Balde and Mona Okorie. Balde dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Okorie dropped a double-double with ten points and 20 boards. Holy Cross is 2-1 when Balde posts 20 or more points, but 4-18 otherwise. Madison Glasco was another key player, putting up seven points.

Holy Cross smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. They are 6-14 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 6-19. As for Archbishop Molloy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season.

Holy Cross has already played their next contest (against Christ the King), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Archbishop Molloy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
