On Tuesday, Bearden faced Maryville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Bearden Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Maryville Red Rebels 61-33. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Bearden's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3. As for Maryville, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-7.

Bearden will take on Farragut at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bearden knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Farragut likes a good challenge. Maryville has already played their next matchup (against Hardin Valley Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
