Basketball Recap: West Orange Takes Down Westfield in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, West Orange rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Westfield Blue Devils by a score of 59-47. The victory was nothing new for the Mountaineers as they're now sitting on six straight.

West Orange's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rhyan Watt led the charge by dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten steals. Watt's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Kyley Gary-Grayson was another key player, dropping a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds.

West Orange's win bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Westfield, they moved to 14-4 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

As of now, neither West Orange nor Westfield have any future games scheduled.
